If you want to teach yourself the basics of Functional Analysis, I’m working on a series of explanatory posts:

I want these to be accessible, please let me know if you have any questions on any given post.

collection of posts about other topics I wrote about after the main 2014 course, some also from the dissertation:

This blog began as a repository of summaries from a course I taught Winter 2014. Here are some links to specific posts related to that course:

start with some of these materials to see what went on in the 2014 class:

For background definitions and useful info:

For weekly summaries of materials from the 2014 course:

for supplemental material to the above summaries:

I have posted class notes, handouts, and assignments from the course. Due to copyright, scores will only be posted to Blackboard for students, but most should be available at your local music library or thru IMSLP.

I want this material to be accessible to all levels of musicians. If there is something that you haven’t encountered before, let me know and I will try to add it to “Definitions” or otherwise help cover the concept.

If you would like my feedback on assignments, contact me and we’ll set up skype or email feedback.

Teaching this course is part of my research for my dissertation. If you have comments about the system that could help in that manner, please let me know.
